Huxham Golf Design Inc.  is an award winning international golf course design firm whose two principals, Darrell and Warren Huxham, have combined over 40 years experience in the golf course industry. Together they have designed over 50 golf courses worldwide including three CLUBLINK premium facilities and with projects on the go across the country their reputation as on of Canada’s top design firms continues to grow.

Several of their courses such as Le Maitre, Kingswood, Fountainebleau and Tempete have received design awards from noted publications such as Golf Digest and Score magazine and have been host to PGA Tour players & events. Their courses have been host to national and internationally televised events and have had the likes of Fred Couples, Phil Michelson, Padraig Harrington, Mike Weir, V.J. Singh. Together with The Dover Coast development group HGD’s vision is to create a golf course of this magnitude that would at the same time cater to the associated life style community membership, be nationally recognized and in the future host a premier golfing event.

From our initial site visit and tour of the Port Dover area we instantly became enamored with the area and course potential and are now very excited to be part of this truly special project. The proposed resort and development community is equally impressive as it boasts a fully integrated lifestyle community and other associated amenities. 

We pride ourselves on the visual attractiveness of each hole whereby the golfer will be stimulated at every tee box and will be presented with the play options and fair exciting challenges. Elements such as risk-reward shots and heroic shots combined with large water features are elements we include within the overall design to further stimulate the golfing experience.
