As a pet friendly community, parkland and a dog run have been provided by Dover Coast for the private access of our residents. Located adjacent to the golf course this area is a safe and scenic spot to let your dog run free while you chat and meet new friends.
The guidelines listed below are to be followed by all who use this area.
This park is located on private property and is for the use of Dover Coast residents only
- Hours – dawn to dusk
- Owners are liable for damage or injury by their dog(s)
- Dover Coast has no liability or responsibility for injuries in the dog run
- Limit 2 dogs per person per visit
- Dogs must be properly licensed & vaccinated with Norfolk County
- Licenses and tags must be properly displayed on all dogs
- Dogs must be leashed before entering and upon leaving
- Owners must have pet waste disposal materials and must pick up all fecal matter and properly dispose of it in a trash receptacle
- Owner must be within verbal & sight control of their dogs at all times, prevent aggressive behaviour, biting, fighting & aggressive barking
- Never leave your dog unattended
- No puppies under 4 months of age
- No female dogs in heat
- No children under the age of 12
- Children under 18 must be with adult supervision
- No petting other people’s dogs without permission
- No smoking in dog run
